Personal notes:  Cynotilapia zebroides "Chinuni" is a dwarf mbuna from Chinuni, Mozambique.  They are a moderately aggressive cichlid that attains a size of only about 3.5 inches (9 cm) but they can hold their own against some larger mbuna.  Until fairly recently, Cynotilapia zebroides "Chinuni" was known as Cynotilapia afra "Chinuni".  The cichlid pictured below was purchased from the LFS with the location not specified.  The people at Cichlid-Forum seem to think the location is Chinuni, Mozambique.

The above three pictures show the male.

As you can see the female isn't much to look at.  But it is the females that keep the male exited and looking good.
